Dear
All,
Happy
Blessed Auspicious New Year. Thank you for sharing another
wonderful year through the Sanskrit Studies and the Path of
Luminous Shabda. It has been an honor and a joy to share
the luminous shabda teachings with all of you. It is with
great pleasure that I announce Sanskrit Studies new tour I AM
AKASHA 2009.
The new
year brings with it the opportunity to re-focus
on the point. In Yogic practice, point is the deep
and abiding understanding of the Self. Akasha reflects
the notion of the Self as expansive and vast. The first
principle in Yogic practice centralizes around the idea of
growth. In Sanskrit, the syllable for growth is known as 'ru
or ruh.'

We
aim our attention on elevating from the 'gu' which means goo,
muck or darkness, towards the light that we truly are.
The harmonious meeting of the two syllables ru and gu is known
as Guru.
In
Sanskrit, the word Guru means teacher, remover of darkness but
in its highest sense it means eternal light. Guru is that
force within which illumines our path from the darkness of
believing we are something we are not to illumnating the
reality that we are. This new year let us feel this inner
light. May we thirst for that which we truly are and may we
come to know real and lasting peace and tranquility in our
hearts. I look forward to seeing you all on the
touring trails ... Until then practice and be
well. Warm Pranams & Love,
Manorama

on to "I-Am" beyond the body and mind. Then you can
witness your whole mind in the form of nadam, cosmic music, light
and vibration. When the unconscious and superconscious
meet together, then and then only your mind becomes like the
full moon and is transformed into sahaja samadhi, natural
samadhi, pure

By
going beyond the body and mind, your mind is transformed from
something to "no thing". This means that beyond objective
things there lies an ocean of energy, prana, and by the union of
prana and ether or akasha, this nadam vibrates."
~Shri
Brahmanada Sarasvati
